Archibat Asia is looking for a Key Account Manager in Shanghai for a world’s leading exhibition company with a history of success for more than 60 years.
The company maintains an international representative network covering over 85 countries. It runs regional offices in mainland China (Shanghai, Guangzhou) and Hong Kong.

Position

Key Responsibilities: 
Sales Strategy Development: 
– Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets 
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base 
– Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies 
 
Client Relationship Management: 
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders 
– Address client needs and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction 
– Develop long-term partnerships with clients to drive repeat business 
 
Event Coordination: 
– Collaborate with marketing, buyer, and operations departments to ensure better sales results and seamless execution of the event. 
– Oversee all aspects of the exhibitor management, including booth and sponsorship sales, contract management, invoices, booth positioning, and onsite exhibitor care 
– Ensure all activities align with the company’s overall event and sales strategy 
Reporting and Analysis: 
– Prepare and present regular sales and progress reports to Head of Sales team 
– Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement 
– Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall performance 

Profile

Qualifications: 
Education: 
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Sales, Event Management, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred 
 
Experience: 
– 5-7 years of experience in sales and/or key account management 
– Experience in event management, trade fair sales, and/or the travel/tourism industry is highly advantageous 
 
Skills: 
– Business, sales and service driven mindset 
– Fluent in both Mandarin and English. Fluency in Arabic or Russian would be an advantage. 
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills 
– Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities 
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software 
– Ability to work under pressure 
– Frequent domestic and international travel
